Study on High Performance Polymer-Modified Cement Grouts

Engineers worldwide use various additives or chemical admixtures, such as polymer latexes, to improve the properties of cementitious materials for many construction projects. In this paper, influence acrylic epoxy resin emulsions, along with a polycarboxylate superplasticiser on some basic (rheological behaviour, setting time, bleeding, strength) thick cement grouts is presented. The experimental approach included different dosages mixed made low water ratios. laboratory tests revealed that incorporation in marginally affected viscosity, whereas significant increase viscosity was obtained when an added. Regardless prolonged times, both polymers improved development early final strength.
